Recently, developing waterborne paints and adhesives has been required from the standpoint of environmental concerns. Chlorinated polyolefins have also been used in organic solvents such as toluene so far. SUPERCHLON E-723, E-673 and E-503 developed with our special technology are the waterborne chlorinated polyolefin, which shows excellent adhesion to polypropylene substrates and can be used as primers and adhesives.

[Testing procedures]
Adhesion Coated test panel was cut to make 100sections of checked pattern with 1mm width interval.
A cellophane adhesive tape was tightly applied on the checkered pattern, following peeled off at an angle of 180 degree for 10 times.
Gasoline Resistance A cross cut was made on the coated test panel which was dipped into gasoline. The time at which any defects occured on the film was measured.
