Recently, developing waterborne paints and adhesives
has been required from the standpoint of environmental concerns. Chlorinated
polyolefins have also been used in organic solvents such as toluene
so far. SUPERCHLON E-723, E-673 and E-503 developed with our special
technology are the waterborne chlorinated polyolefin, which shows
excellent adhesion to polypropylene substrates and can be used as
primers and adhesives. |

[Testing procedures] |
 |
| Adhesion |
Coated test panel was cut to make 100sections of checked pattern with 1mm width interval.
A cellophane adhesive tape was tightly applied on the checkered pattern, following peeled off at an angle of 180 degree for 10 times. |
| Gasoline Resistance |
A cross cut was made on the coated
test panel which was dipped into gasoline. The time at which
any defects occured on the film was measured. |
